A new beginning

   Hello everyone!

It's been such a long time since I posted anything or even made a card.

I used to post a lot on a french blog ,made loads of cards and interracted with people who share the same passion for crafting, from all over the world.

That changed when I've moved from France to The Netherlands, 6 years ago (almost 7 now 😱) . When I moved I've left so much behind and slowly lost everything that connected me to that place and to the person I used to be.

The loss of the relationships I have built there hit me the hardest but beside this I also left behind absolutely all of my crafting tools and supplies ( office full off). Along with it, I lost the energy, the drive, the longing to craft.

The first year, I tried to build myself a new crafting space here and got myself new crafting materials and tools and slowly started to make cards again. But everytime I would begin one, something would be missing and my mind was jumping instantly at all the stuff I left behind.  And that's when frustration would begin to grow in anger ,sadness would turn into resignation and my energy would evaporate getting me to exhaustion faster than a full day of work.

And then I stopped completely. I was feeling like the hobby I loved and enjoyed was making me feel way worse than I already was .

But now , I suddenly got the urge to begin anew . I'm at a point where I made peace with all that was and all there is. I finally rediscovered myself and at the same time I found an immense well of energy to be used on  everything that surrounds me and everything I love to do.

So I will begin by posting  a very simple card. My supplies are still pretty low ,I am improvising a lot. Using a lot of chocolate and sweets wrapers, packing papers, paper from old envellopes.

Would love to hear what you think about it.❤

I will enter with this card in the following challenges:

  4. Hello again Renata

I was looking back at your previous posts and ended up at this one. It made me feel that you have been on quite a journey and along the way you lost the wish to craft as well as most of your supplies. I'm about to do some proper sorting out in my craft room and would be very happy to send you some things (obviously for free) to help to build up your items - such as stamps, dies perhaps?, that sort of thing. If you are interested then please send an email to my own email address and we can take it from there. Obviously I need to know what things you miss the most!

    Hugs
