Hello everyone!
It's already the end of another week!
I feel like time goes way too fast lately and never have enough time in a day to do everything I'd love to do. Would so gladly add at least 2-3 hours to every day ....
Anyway there's a new sketch at Sketch Saturday - Sketch #730 and had to join in with the fun. This is their sketch :
And here is my take on it :
It's my first time using printed/ patterned velum. I've tried to find more info and ideas how to work with it and didn't find so many . So if anybody reading this has some tips would love to hear about it.
The velum I used has such a beautiful pattern and it also has shinny silver in it. I just love it. ❤
As for the bear , I think I kinda made a mess out of coloring it. Still learning and experimenting with colors and papers. The paper I used seem to be good but then when I started coloring, the colors were bleading😔
Any tips regarding this would be greatly appreciated as well.

Love this sweet image and the pink stripes are terrific. That vellum looks beautiful. Did you color the pink on? Really pretty, Renata. Thank you so much for joining the challenge at Sketch Saturday. (Be sure you have used an ink to stamp your image that is compatible with alcohol inks. Not all are and that can cause bleeding with the color.)

ReplyDeleteThat's really cute. Love the patterned vellum, so pretty. I have made quite a few cards with vellum, some plain, some patterned. I remember it doesn't like getting wet, either with water or glue. But it embosses nicely. Hugz
